EML is a file format that is used to store single email data or one email message with its attachments. It was introduced by Microsoft in order to save a single email into a hard drive. As the email client for the EML file in Outlook Express. But it is also used by many other email clients like Thunderbird, Apple Mail, etc. Which made it the most popular file extension. First of all, try this method to store mails into EML files using Outlook Express. Just double click on the message, go to save, and then click save as, under the file type choose Text.txt. This is the same as the EML format, so you can change the file extension from .txt to .eml.
